- The village of Arable Ugol was founded in 1695 by retired soldiers. At the beginning of the XVlll century a chapel was built, and in 1721 the first wooden church was built. The temple, which can be seen in the village of Pahotny Ugol, is now a parish church, unheated during the cold period, brick, stone, three-altar, five-domed, built at the expense of parishioners in 1893. In the temple, the central throne is consecrated in honor of the Epiphany of the Lord. The right border is consecrated in honor of the Holy Trinity. The left border is in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God. On the territory of the church there is a chapel with a holy well. The temple was closed in 1937. The last abbot was the priest Sergiy Sungurov, who ended his life as a martyr. In 1989, the temple was handed over to the believers. From this time on, the second life of the temple begins. The first rector was the priest Nikolai Bougera. What it looked like, the temple can be seen from the photographs of those years and the memories of the parishioners.
