- The Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos at the Bogoyavlensk station was built in 1888. The building of the parish school at the temple - in 1890. In the thirties XX century, the church building was destroyed, and the building of the parish school was adapted for a savings bank, and then for a children's library. The revival of the parish began in 1992. The district administration returned the building of the children's library to the Russian Orthodox Church on March 2, 1992. In the same year, the altar was hastily added, openings were made in the walls in the right places, the extension, in which the boiler room was located, was dismantled. The church was consecrated by His Eminence Archbishop Eugene on October 10, 1992 in honor of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos. Next to the temple (near the northern wall) is the building of the Sunday school, which was built in the 60s of the twentieth century. In the middle of 2000, the reconstruction of the temple began. The roof was removed, the walls were added, the dome of the temple was made and installed. In 2002, the construction of the church vestibule and the belfry began. In 2003, a garage was built, and in 2004, a prosphora one. In 2004, construction work was completed with the erection of a stone fence. The reconstruction was carried out with the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Eugene. In 2007, with the blessing of His Grace Theodosius, Bishop of Tambov and Michurinsky, the third stage of construction of the temple began. The foundation was laid for an extension-baptismal building on the south side of the church. In 2008, the walls of the christening were erected, the roof was made, windows and doors were inserted, electrical wiring was carried out, the walls were plastered outside and inside, the floor was made, the walls were painted, heating was carried out. The foundation of the new altar was laid. In 2009, the walls of the altar were erected and the area of the church plot was expanded from the south by 100 sq.m. partial rebuilding of the stone fence. The stone church fence was partially rebuilt for free passage of the procession. The area of the land plot on which the temple is located is 1200sq.m. In 2009, the parish was donated a plot of land with an area of 473 square meters, located near the temple, on which it is planned to build a new building for a Sunday school.
