- The church was built in 1883 with the help of the merchant Ivan Afanasyevich Popov. The parish had a 2-grade zemstvo school. The main throne is the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God (June 26). On June 29, 1929, a letter was addressed to the All-Russian Central Executive Committee, which stated that on June 10, 1929, the Staroyuryevsky regional executive committee, according to an act, seized the church and the gatehouse at its disposal. Subsequently, these buildings were in an ownerless state and were taken apart. There is no other information on the history of the Tikhvin Church in the archives. On June 26, 2008, a worship cross was erected on the allotted land plot. A passport of initial data has been prepared. The blessing was received for the construction of the church according to the project, which was made in June 2009.
